Lightbulb Looking for a populated game and addictive

Hello guys, I've been playing alot of Firefall and I reaaly like the game, but feel kinda sad, cuz theres almost any one in the game to play with... I would like a game with some hardcore dung, the need of crafting, dynamic combat and some cool pvp and lots of ppl to play with!

So if anyone has any suggestions, be my guest.

Or tell me what are you guys been playing for a long time, and reaaly liked the game.

Crafting is required End-Game for the Purples / legendary weapons. If GW2 lacks "End-game" I can't recommend FFXIV or any other pay to play. Most free to plays will also not meet your requirements if you think GW2 has something lacking in its end-game. (When I say "Most," I mean all of them currently out. Plus some betas I've played like Skyforge. ArcheAge won't sate your end-game thirst either.)

Guild Wars 2 is soo terribly balanced. The devs are completely incompetent. They don't know anything about PvP balance. Every time I go back to the game and play a few PvP matches it's an absolute lesson in frustration.

Downed State, Condition Damage, too much Sustain, too many Immunity frames.

There is no hope for GW2 unless they fire the balance dev team and hire some competent devs. I had a lot of faith in the game, trust me. A while ago I hyped GW2 a lot on these very forums. If they haven't learned from their mistakes and don't understand what results in competitive engaging gameplay after so long, there is absolutely no hope.

The game had some features that I absolutely loved, most notably I loved the concept of Heart of the Mists and balanced structured PvP. But, the incredibly poor and frankly sometimes infuriating gameplay mechanics trumps all the things GW2 succeeds in.

If you want a good competitive skill based PvP experience, play Smite.

Priston Tale has to be one of the most addictive for me and still has a good population in the Valento sub server

He needs: Dynamic Combat, Crafting required, "hardcore" dungeons and good PVP :V

I would say it has one of the best combats in an mmorpg, it has crafting , The end game dungeon areas are pretty hard core and the pvp is decent castle sieges weekly.

I was just like you, though Gw2 would be like THAT GAME... but no... :S yeah smite is a good game, I played a couple of times with some friends... but its more like MOBA style, it has no dung, or crafting...

It sounds like the guy might enjoy FFXIV. It has dynamic combat, plenty of crafting, and low and behold some of the stuff that makes FF what it is - amazing PVE battles (at end game). On top of that all, it looks great.

I've played so many games (pretty much all of them) and can't really pinpoint any good F2P games that aren't completely RNG-based that have what this OP is looking for.

It's also possible something as simple as Ragnarok would be what the OP is looking for, though. It has a lot of things to do including plenty of crafting, unique combat, and from what I hear, great PVE (and PVP).

Also worth mentioning is FF14 comes with a 14 day trial. It is pretty much unrestricted except for sending messages and mail

Don't play FFXIV if you expect decent PvP. It's really PvE focused game.

On the subject of GW2's endgame, I can agree that it's missing something. I quit a few months after I capped.

You should still try it. The dungeons are challenging and the game has alot of events, but you're mainly working for transmogs once you get your crafted set. While I think a progression system to WoW is outdated, there has to be some progression. You'll hit your stat cap really quickly, and if you're like me, you won't want to reroll because it's hard to 100% everything in PvE a second time, but it's useful for some of the harder to obtain transmogs.

With that being said, if you like PvP, GW2 is, unquestionably, the game for you. Even the easier dungeons like ACHM can be challenging. The set looks good too. At least the weapon does. Beyond that, maybe they added more things to keep you busy, but the game has a strong community regardless.

Tera has a strong (at least populated) community too. It's an alright, but not innovative game aside from the combat. The pacing is ridiculously slow at times, considering that the reason you probably bought Tera (when you could 'buy' it) was for the combat. If you want PvE, that's pretty much the game to get. The endgame progression is a little murky, though. Enchanting is ridiculous at times, and if you're not in a good guild, grinding gear can be a pain (dailies are boring, but the nexus event was fun, if you can catch it).

Wildstar's another good one, though, I personally don't like it. The combat's good. The graphics for good. The game's revolutionary, but I feel like they should have developed it for another year. Polish is important if you plan on living in a world.

I don't recommend touching Archeage either, with coming titles like EQ Next (very promising) and Skyforge, which may or may not see a beta early 2015 and has a unique concept. The combat looks good, too, but I can't really speak for the game as I haven't played it. The whole overwatch superhero-minus-spandex theme looks awesome though.

Speaking of superheroes, Champions Online is a good game. It can be frustrating at times, and I'm not sure what has changed in the past year or two since I've played it, but I do remember hitting the burnout wall like... a brick wall.

Honestly, I'm just waiting for Lunia 2. I know that's what you're doing from all of the money you're making off of Kritika, allm. I'm onto you.

Even though they are good games I wouldn't recommend Wildstar or Archeage unless you enjoy jumping into sinking ships. Better things are in the horizon if you can wait a little longer.
