So several months ago i, personally, was all a-froth about Fortnite as they were giving Game Informer an exclusive look at the classes that would be available at launch. Unfortunately for me, directly following the press release for these classes Epic Games essentially went radio silent - nothing came out about anything on Fortnite for a solid four months! This, of course, disheartened me; though i still visited the site on a weekly basis to see what was going on, if anything.

Now how ever Fortnite has, with very little advertising on their part, gone in to closed alpha! I'm of course very excited about this as the first session will be lasting from the second till the nineteenth! Sadly for me, not only did i not get a key (yet, they're sending out more every day) but their's also an NDA on the CA stoping anyone from even saying anything about the game and how it plays, let alone stream of put up Youtube videos! As you can imagine, this has me chomping at the bit and hopefully i'll get a key in short order, but with so many people having signed up for alpha during the six-month stretch they've had the application up for, i highly doubt i'll get one.
