Defiance, its that a good game to play? I know it went f2p a while ago, but I wanted to know what exacly the game has, like if it has dungeons, good dungeons, if the crafting system is good (if it has), the pvp, if it is p2w, some of the players that play this game, can u tell me about your experience?

    Thank you.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZz_KKGpgfk This guy spends a half hour ripping on it, but honestly, for a F2P game, it doesn't sound that bad, and I'm sure it has alot more polish now.

Angry Joes review was from the first week of release, the game has had dosens of updates since then, along with a butt-ton of expansions that add more fully voiced semi-cinematic cutscenes, weapon types and systems. It's a fantastic way to kill hours, just running around and doing random things that crop up in the world or chasing Arc Falls.

The crafting is excellent, each weapon (except charge-blades) has four slots that you can fill with modifications that add bonuses to your stats and change the way the weapon looks and, occasionally, fires; so i might put a barrel on my AR that makes it semi-automatic but completely removes the recoil, then slap on a butt that adds +x% melee damage, a clip that makes my bullets do radioactive damage rather than normal ballistic and a x5 scope.

Then their's the skill board. While you have only one active skill it can be augmented with passives that change it dramatically. From things like your holo-clone exploding when you swap to it to increasing jump-hight for your speed skill, as well as general quality of life skills like "reduces flair when crouched" and things like that, load-outs can differ dramatically.

Every quest in the main story line is fully voice-acted and interesting to watch, especially if you're an avid fan of the show (i gobbled up the first season but not the second yet). The game and show move in tandem, so when something happens in that weeks episode it may change things in the game; a character who left Defiance might show up in the Bay Area and have a new quest-chain associated with them for example.

Their are actually a good number of dungeons, even with just the base game - they also have fully cinematic cut-scenes that set the mood and give you an idea of what you're doing rather than just looking at a wall of text like most MMOs. While it's a grab-bag where loot is concerned, Defiance generally uses a horizontal progression system rather than a vertical one. You can upgrade any piece of gear with Arc Salvage you get from doing Arc Falls - you could keep using the same gun through the entire game if you really want to.

All and all, especially for an F2P game, it's excellent. Personally, for me, it blows Firefall out of the water in regards to MMOFPS :o
