Ps3/4 headset
Hey dudes. I've never bothered with a headset because I don't really do online multi-player. Headsets allow for my TV to be muted and channel the sound to my ears right? I'm working different hours now and don't wanna be waking everyone up with death screams and kratos grunts.
Anyone know an OK set for like $40 that'll work on both ps3 and 4? I don't need to get fancy with it. I don't wanna buy a used set because another nerds face sweat melting into my ears makes me gag.

If you're indifferent about getting the microphone part of a headset, just get a pair of headphones.
Generally significantly better quality, more comfortable and none of that garish "Gamer" branding.

PS4 allows the headset to be plugged in to your controller, as long as it uses an audiojack, you can even use earbuds.
PS3 on the other hand probably requires a USB headset or a bluetooth headset.

Unfortunately I mainly play on ps3 still since there's such a huge backlog. I wish the controller had an audio jack for that.
How would I go about using headphones on a ps3? Anyone know? I have some nicer headphones but they're not wireless.

I have the Sony PlayStation Wireless Pulse Stereo Gaming Headset.
Bought it for 65 euro in a sale. Works very well!
