Default My PC is the only PC in the house with slow internet.

I'm getting 36MBPS while other devices are getting 54MBPS. Its been like this since we got this new garbage internet, however I sometimes do get decent speeds on my PC but that only lasts a few seconds. Would anyone be able to guess what the problem might be?
The router is in the basement, and my PC is on the upper floor. I'd move the router but it's locked in place, but I don't think distance is the issue because my laptop and phone are on the top floor at all times as well, yet they both have perfectly fine speeds. I don't know what the problem could be at all, could there be a program or something that needs to be deleted? Thanks in advance.

Pull a bloody wire. That's the only real fix there is.

Your WiFi-antenna is most likely right next to or directly attached to a big interference thing called 'cage of faraday' aka your PC case. In a lot of the instances... it's next to electrical wires in the wall so that's another interference as well. Either get a single range extender and put it halfway up or get a movable Wifi-antenna and mess with it.

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.

So.. I still have no idea what I should do. I don't know what a single range extender is and idk what a movable wifi-antenna is. Do you have any links that can show me what these are and what the do?

Also I have a tiny wireless usb chip that says tp-link on it in my computer. Could this be why it's slow? Perhaps the chip is garbage? I don't know.

    WiFi repeater.
    Movable antenna.

I recommend trying the antenna first. :/
And yes, that tiny wireless USB chip that says TP-Link is garbage. Most likely because it's tucked in between the wall and your PC case. Not because the chips is garbage. :/

Well usually it should get crappy signal it's going through several floor since it is in the basement. Probably should just make an Ethernet cable and pull it all the way back to your desktop to keep it stable. If you are not going for stability and mobility then antenna is probably the better choice.
