actually having a lot more fun than i expected to have in No Man's Sky. The options that are given to you to make money is very well done, i love exploring planets, scanning lifeforms and receiving a big bonus for getting 100% on a planet. or sitting in a spacestation waiting for trader npcs to sell you stuff for cheap so you can resell it again for 100% extra cash.
right now im in a spacestation where they buy bypass chips for 7200 each (gold star) so im gonna make a shit ton of money from that. 1k plutonium and 1k iron will get me 720k once all the chips are crafted

The mod linking on ships that give bonuses, and inventory slot locations makes you think twice before buying or boarding a ship but makes it all the more worth it if you finally find that perfect ship you wanted.

stumbled on a radiated yet very populated planet which made me feel right at home, lots of gold crystals and Iridium chunks on here

little status update. in the past few days i learned a couple things that greatly alter the gameplay for me.
1. u can move at almost 3-5 times the speed if u do a timed melee dash and start your jetpack at the same time, this makes onfoot traveling so much more enjoyable!
2. you have to purchace or swap your multitools and starships multiple times in order to get higher slot variants offered to you.
there was this cool looking starship in a spacestation i had my eyes set on but it only had 17-24 slots everytime this npc flying the ship came back to the station. i tested this for almost an entire day. in the end i decided to buy 1 that had its slots layed out nicely in a grid and immediatly after that another npc flying that same ship came in and it had 27 slots.

long story short. because i didnt know this and i have only swapped starship maybe 2 times, i now have a maxed exosuit that can carry twice the ammount of items than my ship can because i never changed enough lol.

i cant complain though, i have pretty much all upgrades available to me, so i made my 23 slot ship as deadly as posible:
i stripped this ship empty in order to have its upgrade's aligned perfectly so they synergize with eachother, this is shown by the red outline around my weapon upgrades, yellow around shield, and blue for my hyperdrive.

my multitool which is equally overpowered with a clipsize of 194, firing multiple times per second of auto aiming homing bullets lol.

Got a brand new gigabyte gtx 1060 today and this game was my first test. my 660ti was struggling around 30-40fps at max/med/med settings. i went to 110fps everything maxed out at 1080p. capped it nicely at 60 now and it remains 60 at almost all times. <3
until now i was playing a pirated version to test it out but i bought it for reals now on steam because for me its definitely worth the money in entertainment vallue. only downside is that the version i was playing was GOG and u cant transfer a GOG save file to the steam version. so i had to start all over.
i dont mind much though, i got 47 exosuit slots in 2 days, and most of the journey milestones back.

Finally after years of seeing a mjolner/discharge build, I finally am able to play it of my own. Got enough currency to buy the items I need and it's fun as all hell

already posted this in the bdo thread but yeah i decided to pick it up for 10 bucks since its on sale now, and turns out some gold seller had logged on my account during beta somewhere causing me to get banned (i barely even played myself). took em 3 days to unban me lol. i just want to fool around with the character creator and *wink* mods for now lol.
once im done with WoW i may start it for real since i have a nice video card now

i seriously chose the worst time to start subbing to FFXIV again lol, 24 hour maintenance incoming.
anyway the game runs perfect now on my new vid card. even with 2k resolution downsampling on a 1k res monitor and max settings it maintains 60fps. gonna see if i can make some more nice screenshots later lol.
