Haven't been around for a long time, but is this the global version ? I heard people don't like Neople's version, yet it's the only one I can find and that is promoted as the GLOBAL one. How is the population and is it p2w ? I always wanted to play this game as I enjoy how it looks, but I don't want to waste my time if it's empty (thus no partying up) or p2w.

Yeah, its the Neople version. Its okay. I havent done arena so I cant comment on that aspect for this version. But ofc, when you look at the avatar stats, if you don't have a good strategy for pvp or if you arent good at it in general, you will likely lose. The population is a good size; such a shame that its hard to find parties though. But its easier to level up and with the daily gifts for the month, you can get great items to speed the process. And Neople tends to host many events as well. For story mode, f2p players wont really have that much of a disadvantage against p2p due to the high gear drops rates. So yeah, I recommend this version of the game if you want to play it casually. And iirc, they have/ plan on making a pvp mode where avatar items are off. I would need verification on this though.

2 hour recording where i poke everything to death :P i was planning on using the full Raging bull set since a spear is one of the pieces, but the darn armor is just way to heavy lol. and i learned soul matching doesn't exactly come cheap either so it got useless fast.. making me switch over to the lighter Warrior of the west set at some point during the video, even though i dont deal any lightning damage it's still nice since most of the set dropped as purple rarity.

Coop boss battle at 1:45:12. this one was kinda funny lol, if it weren't for my HP i would have died the exact same way the host did. 1:48:15 things went wrong very quickly

The recent arena update actually made it so you get a free avatar set for arena play, allows you to make a level 85 character to play exclusively in pvp (that you can convert to a normal character after pvping enough), alongside with a ton of tutorials that teach you combos to use in arena and how to play your class in general in arena. Though my main issue with pvp is the connections, if you play a class that relies on a lot of juggles with extremely short windows to keep your combo going with another launcher attack, good luck. Because there's usually quite a bit of delay and you'll be dropping combos left and right.

another recording, this time i'm trying out a twilight mission of level 90, which is the same as my own. however i'm still wearing level 50-60 armor so a couple hits and i'm dead xD had to rely heavily on dodging skills. also for the first time i tried summoning someone in my own game, but nobody came lol. its cool once you beat a mission you can join and help other people yourself though, which is exactly what im gonna do next, the set armor drops are amazing.

Finally finished Final Fantasy XV main story and damn that ending, right in the feelings lol awesome game despite some flaws and the OST is superb (wish we could hear it in the game mp3 or in the car)

ye the ending was just ... it hit hard leel but its their ''Final Fantasy'' fits perfectly .. i suggest replaying in NEw Game+ once they remake chap 13 and such

People don't like Neople? Never heard that before. The game is in it's best state ever and their cust**** support is AAA. We get events on a weekly (!) basis and it's really populated. New content drops frequently.

As for parties, there's just no point before lvl 90, because you'll be faster without one. After that, get a guild and you do stuff together like farming, raids, special dungeons etc. p2w is not a factor and there are tons of events which give you free cash shop stuff or even legendary weapons and/or armor sets. Of course you'll be having advantages if you pay, but that's the whole point of a cash shop.

There's even a weekly twitch stream in which upcoming changes and updates are discussed.

Ya I'm actually downloading the game again right now, like you said its crazy to think people don't like Neoples version, they've always been great for the game compared how to nexon was. If you're going to pick lancer, go vanguard. Skirmisher is basiclly a meme right now because he doesn't to damage Avenger is in a great spot, dealing ****trucks of damage and fun to play.
