finaly bought dragon quest XI, the one reason i didnt before is because the music being used in this game is just straight up low quality midi garbage since either square or the composer are greedy, or have licensing issues. but thankfully a orchestrated mod of all the soundtracks is being made and should be out soon.
tweaked the .ini file slightly for better draw distances on models and foliage, + added some subtle motion blur. u can tweak a lot of things but my pc wont be able to handle 4k resolution downsampling lol.








i hate camera motion blur, but model motion blur can look pretty nice:






CrossCode released and i freaking love it so far! i've only played the intro so far and the game has already blown me away by how awesome the music is. i think you get to listen to 10 different songs in the first 30 minutes alone lol, and they are all equally amazing!

besides the music, the whole graphic style and main character have a certain charm to them that just makes u feel just.. happy inside, so far its great! lol

next to the orchestra music mod some other mods have started to appear, like hair/costume/skintone color mods for the hero, and some alternative overworld soundtracks. looking forward to see what else gets added

man dragonquest 11 is ridiculously large lol, just hit part 2/3 and i'm 100 hours in. i gotto say i really love the post yggdrasil content so far.

bored of dragon quest, back to monster hunter world on PS4.
this time i'm doing a Great Sword playtrough which is surprisingly fun!
i had to do some research about all its combo's first though. knowing about the Great Sword's most useful attack, the shoulder bash makes a world of difference lol.
it allows you to skip combo's to go straight to the final strong attack, it allows you to reduce incoming damage, it allows you to be immune to knockdown, instead it makes the monster you're bashing knock down in a lot of cases, i love it!

Here's a great example of it being so useful, tanking anjanaths firebreath and knocking him out ontop of it:

Honestly, the animal taming for pets and mount in this game is way more fun then it has any right to be, especially with how over the top the mounts get.

Destiny 2
picked it up for free and bought the discounted expansions for 30 bucks, pretty good deal from how much ive already played it. the game looks gorgeous and runs good performance wise.









edit: ill have to add though, while i think the graphics are more appealing than warframe or borderlands, the loot makes me want to play borderlands 2 again, and the movement system and seeing my ship, and limited use of skills makes me want to play warframe again lol
