started working on my little hideout. i really love the feature lol, everything you see has been placed by me, even the npcs and which way they are facing. i like the way of how u place things can tell a little story.. for example
here u see i made a nice little spot for catarina, master of the dead. i gave her spot some books and plants to make her come over as a inteligent woman who knows both much about life, and deathlike a mystic. people in the camp often need her advice and wisdom and even her medicines prove usefull.
bellow you see a little black/armorsmith area i designed for a npc ill add there later once my reputation with the hideout npc gets high enough.
next are the 2 npcs who go over who will be allowed in my camp and who dont, space is limited so we will have to turn down some exiles :P here you see them standing in line to be aproved into the camp, which is still a work in progress. im going to buy a lot more tents to put up there.
and last we have what i like to call the center of this hideout. Tora, master of the hunt instructs and oversees the exiles that have to chip in to provide food and other resources for the camp. its also used as storage for materials like firewood, fish and animal pelts. my personal stash is also here but even though i own the place i am mostly out hunting myself
its cool cause u can see the devs used the same tools to create the act1-2-3 towns this way so if they gonna expand even further on this you could create some amazing things. its up to you whether u want to create a camp that provides shelter for others, or maybe u prefer to make some evil torture dungeon in a different area/tileset. (or maybe u just like to screw around and see how many dead seagulls on a stick u can fit in 1 hideout :P)
as you level up reputation with different npcs u can access to more and more objects you can place, and get even bigger hideouts, all fun but it actually has a real benefit as well, which is crafting.(or more like enchanting) in the crafting tools u see spread around in my camp u can place your weapon or armor and select a statmod of your choice to permanently add it for the price of a couple alchemy/chaos orbs. really usefull

Someone seems a little grumpy.
I didn't just smoothen the rough edges.
I upped the resolution and added a GTE accuracy hack to fix the 3d model jittering issue by improving the interpolation.
The PS1 only did fixed-point math and did not support floating point precision which led to that horrible jitter in 3d models.
An HD remaster is basically just rereleasing a game in a higher resolution.
It's what this gen of consoles is getting flooded with.
So technically I am not wrong with what I stated.
Now if I state it as an HD "remake" then I would be wrong.
But I doubt there will ever be a true HD remake.
Anyone trying to do one would be shutdown quickly just like with the people that tried to remake Chrono Trigger.
Besides Xenogears is a large game and a full remake would take a huge team many years to finish let alone a group of two or three guys who have basically only created a few high poly models to show off.
If you are talking about Proyecto NOAH and really think they will remake the game then I've got a bridge to sell you.
Over the course of 6 years they have barely done anything but a few badly proportioned models with very bad animations.
If Square Enix was truly going to remake Xenogears then they would have to actually flesh out the story more rather than just do a huge text info dump filling up most of disc two with a badly written wrap up to the plot which was obviously meant for many more separate stories.
They would have to redo the English translation which was rather poor because they originally stuck the whole translation job on one guy since no one else on the team wanted to do it.
They would also need to hire better English voice actors (my god they were horrid compared to the Japanese voices) and actually lip sync them correctly.

sigh....what good is a game if the graphics is the only thing going for it?
oh, so you want more bag space beyond what you unlock through quests? (which totals about 4 rows of extra bag slots....) buy from cash shop
oh, so you want to be able to carry more stuff by increasing max weight capacity? buy from cash shop
oh, so you want to not receive any penalties upon pve/pvp death? buy from cash shop
oh, so you want the best horse with the best skills and best armor? buy from cash shop

iirc those were daums decision to appeal to the mobile market, i honestly believe pa are innocent. i have hopes for the global version to not pull this bullshit, otherwise why would the ru version bother making polls etc. (sub server might also be confirmed not sure about this)
bikeman has spoken with pa directly as hes the most popular bdo streamer, and he confirmed that beta is this year with launch aiming for 2016. :]
even then? game is good enough for me to spend time on. only mmo i've actually enjoyed since archeage pre-1.0.

true. what's scary is that daum plans to head the NA version as well....the prospect doesn't look good.
Archeage before official launch was great~ players thought Trion may pull through.....then look what happened.
I really, REALLY hope Daum won't do that for NA version....

arent u from the US? if so, your ping should be pretty good unless yr from the west coast then u might have ~180 ping. still a lot better than korea afaik.

It was actually one of the screenshots people were posting to complain about the downgrade.
Black Desert cannot compete.
The Witcher 3 dominates it visually in every way from model complexity, to lighting, textures, shadows, physics, hair, foilage, and much much more.
Here are some more screenshots.
If you wait 6 more days I will post my own screenshots of the game maxed at 1440p.
Black Desert is nice looking for an open MMORPG but it can't be compared to the Witcher 3.

all bad.
1440p doesnt fix bad graphics, oh well. im not gonna play the witcher 3 because of this. the grass makes me nauseous.
