Doing pretty good, they've constantly released updates.
Expansion is next month so a wave of players are probably going to return. Since there really isn't much to do if you have caught up to everything, people have been waiting it out.
There is always things to do though, if you're the type that likes to max every class and what not.

Pretty much the same as it was before. Not really getting any worthwhile updates till the expansion either. If you're planning to play heavensward, though. It's better to finish the story you still have left, cause you won't be able to touch the new story till you've don the arr story.

Yea my friend got me started on FF14 for the first time (as well as the Heavensward trailer) so I am currently leveling a Dragoon. Level 44 atm so I will most likely hit 50 this weekend and work on getting end-game gear. Gotta collect gear pieces for when I switch my class to Dark Knight.

What about server recommendations for FFXIV? Gilgamesh good or too much of a hassle to get into? I like populated servers so that there is a good economy.

Greg is one of the more populated servers, also one of the RP servers so yeah. If it's just you (no guildies or friends already playing the game) then go ahead and try to get in but don't sweat it if you're not up to staying up until 3-4AM PST trying >_>

The economy is awful on every server, but if you want a "decent" economy definitely not join gilgamesh. You're better off on a legacy server. They have the more affordable prices.
Example: There are servers that have a normal price of 2mil+ for a certain item, while on a legacy server you could get it for 500k.

Hoping to finish my Project Cars article soon, game is awesome. It runs a lot better now than it did in the beta.
