Finished all the Main Scenario quests. Beyond excited for the expansion.

Not I'm probably gonna work on Dreadwyrm until the expansion comes out. I don't really understand why/how people can max out Ironworks armor. x-x

Especially since Heavensward is gonna render it useless once you max out. I guess it's just a time-waster.

Been working on Botany lately, only thing I see worth grinding until expansion is Gil since all gear is probably going to be outdated.
Also got 4 high quality items in a row without using the +30% chance skill, so that's nice.





Going to use the fantasia I get with expansion to change into one of these faces probably the top right or bottom right.
Though I also plan to mess around with other races to find the best combo of look so this may change.

They probably had it already maxed out from a while ago?

Think they said that maxed out gear will last until 54 or so.
yoshida also said that 50-60 would take as long as 1-50 so if you're going by that then the gear would last you quite a while, buttttt he also said 1-50 should give you enough gil for a house which was wrong haha.

Oh cool. Thanks for the info on that. I didn't know that. Being WHM 110 currently, I'm just going to assume that what I have now will get me to at least 52, haha.

I plan on having Dreadwyrm, but I'll probably get halfway before I get bored of it. I want the weapon at the least.

And yeah, most people who have a full set of Ironworks have been working hard for it for a very long time. There's no real reason to have it unless you're extremely bored and have nothing else to play or just like to be perfect imo. Whatever floats you boat though.

I've never really seen a use for having a huge amount of Gil in this game. There's not much to spend it on and all the classes almost fund themselves. I could be wrong though.

How is Botany? I want to invest in Gathering, but I haven't made the time or patience for it.

Too lazy to craft but want crafted gear for the min/max stats(usually just hardcore statics).
Relic Weapon Novus stage, if you don't have the materia for it then its usually just purchased off market board.
Gets quite expensive really, can easilly add up to over 7mill+ for all the materia added up depending on the stats you choose.
Lots of people use alot of gil on Glamour.

You'll most likely won't even have to worry about equipment. The currently main story can easily be finished with i100 gear, and I doubt they'll force new players to first get i120+ before they can start with the new content. Would be the worst business move/game design ever. Their popularity would go from the Top 5 to like the top 100.

I've been out of it for five months, but are relics still going to be relevant in HW? Is there news for that?

I think it's been said that they will be used in the expansion but nothing has been said to what degree.
Though I'm not 100% sure on either that.

There will be a new set of relics. So they either have to force the players for more tedious grinds before they get the new relic or just shove the old ones up their ass and ignore them after the expansion.

Switched back to 1.03 since 1.04 screwed some things up.
