Id say so. I havent played a whole lot yet myself but it isnt a huge headache to get running. VPN is only needed to get past log in and people already have a lot of the menu stuff translated.
Its plays pretty much identically to DD/Dark Arisen but without the reliance on competent pawns. Some of the quests are a bit tricky to figure out without knowledge of japanese but theres plenty of resources on the reddit to help you out as well.
Id say go for it.

I'd not suggest playing Soul Saver online. The place is a disaster, if you need proof of this just go look at the forums. Almost every post is either a phishing scam, a complaint about being blocked, or an error code. In-game is just as bad, people hacking all over, bots everywhere, and generally no community.
Also pretty sure the game does not get updates anymore.

For me I think I stopped playing soul saver when the client stopped working and I just uninstalled..... but that music is the one I always remember the nostalgia is real.

Unlocked my infinity skill,And hey look at all them buffs =) also that skill there does like 400k per hit x prob 30 hits per target about 12 targets can be hit with it 25second cooldown,im soo close to 199!! top 50 cardmasters get a prize so yea this grind is nooo joke after you hit lvl 193

this game has some of the best weather effects I've seen in a game to date, it looks so real :O plus it's all dynamic
