Reputation: 95Finishing up my review for Rebel Galaxy. Look forward to the article on the front page by the Oct. 20 official release date!
Game is quite fun to play, it has a lot of things I love: space, flying, and naval style combat.
Reputation: 882Shop Heroes is so addicting. thanks again whoever posted it the other day in the screenshot thread.
it feels like a mix between recettear and clicker heroes so if you like either of these you will most likely love this one!
it balances between a online game and a MMO because you can chat with hundreds of players, join city's together (kinda like guilds) and theres a huge marketplace where u can buy and sell items from and to other players. however thats where the interaction with other players stop so it doesnt really have that mmo feeling.
theres also lot of room for improvement and at times you do feel the freemium wall but still its not as bad as other mobile/facebook games. (farmville 2 for example) anything can be done with ingame money, it just takes a little longer.

Reputation: 317I love how they went out of their way to make the PC version have better textures, smoother models, FXAA and better shadows.

Reputation: 882^does it got jp audio/eng subs?

yes it does. My advice is waiting a bit for a few patches, though. They messed up some things compared to the jp ps3 release I own. On moderae/hard mode mobs can literally one hit you, and they did that so you'd buy the 20euro dlc. Other than that the camera is even worse than I remember.

Funeral Party mission gameplay from the latest update - Lowriders.
Dragomon hunter isn't really my cup of tea. But depending on how Aeria handles it, it could end up being quite enjoyable.
Reputation: 317finishing all side quests I can do atm. Those side quest stories are ten times better than the story line of the actual game.

Still one of my favorite rpgs of all time.
Ain't that bad of a game at all. Waiting to see that Open Beta cash-shop though...

Reputation: 19Stop trying to rambo the game?
I am 17 hours into the game right now and I haven't gotten one shot even once outside of the optional fights (which are meant to be tough as hell cause they are stat boost fights). I have played on hard from the first second of the game, sure bosses do a lot of damage with their unblockables but they have never even come close to 1 shotting me.
I even beat a few of the optionals already while they were a good 10 levels above me.
Tales games as usual are just about how good you actually are at playing the game.
battle win from one of the optional fights early in the game :
The dlc is just for lazy people that don't feel up for a challenge, but those people can just drop the difficulty down to normal or even easy if they want to breeze through the game.
Reputation: 198is it just me, or are the mouse controls kind of....sluggish? attacking using left click feels sort of unresponsive and delayed imo~ is this game meant to be used with an actual console controller? gonna be a problem since I don't own one...and even if I ordered one, it will take a few days to be delivered...

Lol, I play however I want to play. I did the game completely on hardmode and I'm doing fine. Doesn't change that it's a fact of what I said. I own the jp ps3 version and I own the english PC version. Damage differences are insane, especially when you consider that most of the time the US release has a milder approach.
btw, I already beat all the field bosses I can find atm... They aren't a challenge, since they have obvious patterns.

Reputation: 317Well.. uhm... Didn't expect this to happen, lol. Or even being possible. Nearly 500 grade for a sidequest boss.

Reputation: 19Off course you should play how you want, that's the beauty of the game, but the way you put it earlier made it sound like they had made the game impossibly hard. Which isn't the case at all.
I unlocked intense difficulty yesterday and the game is STILL to easy apart from some optionals having the ability to 1 shot, no other boss has 1 shot capabilities. But as you said, the optionals/field bosses have such easy patterns that they aren't even really a challenge no matter what difficulty you play on.
If the PS3 version had milder mobs, then thank god I never played that, it sounds way to easy.
That being said, the AI is horrible this time around, even when I tell them to fight defensively they still rambo it up and die like 20 times on a field boss, I hope there is a way to dismiss the AI partner later on so I can just fight bosses solo.

Reputation: 198idk how you guys play this on hard mode...i get my ass handed to me in every major boss fight that it's not even funny...there is so much info that i need to take in that i am overwhelmed....i cant execute half the artes on Sorey because I have absolutely no idea how to execute them (mouse & keyboard control is shit)
really difficult to switch between characters on the fly because unlike console controllers, you need to input multiple keys at once to switch characters...in the heat of battle I am just unable to do that.
I really want to beat this game on hard mode...I really do, but SC doesn't even regenerate when I am low...so I can't attack, AI is pretty shitty....and the item fusing/skill sets/gear setup/etc/etc/etc....I even read up on them but the information is just overwhelming...I did not experience this when I played ToS and ToA....
what a downer.
