Except Xenoverse isn't an MMORPG, it's an online brawler. I still can't even see where that assumption comes from, it still makes me facepalm to read someone even thought of that.

It's as much as an ORPG, like Vindictus or Phantasy Star Online. It has customizable character that you level up, distribute points, learn skills, loot and equip equipment with, etc... It's got quests, crafting, looting materials for said crafting, parties (teams), etc... Most features an ORPG has. MMORPG also fits, though, because there are thousands of people playing and you can play with any of them at any time and you'll often see upwards of fifty or more people on your screen when in the hub town.Except Xenoverse isn't an MMORPG, it's an online brawler. Farming Dragon Balls so I can fix my stats. Took me a bit less than an hour and a half to get five of them. The first forty minutes or so were spent experimenting trying to figure out the best way to do it, though. Decided to spam PQ #12 for them. Very easy cause the Patroller spawns in the starting area and there are no enemies. So you can just pop in, look at the spot (which is straight ahead, so you don't even need to move) and see if the Patroller spawned. If not, just reset the mission and repeat. Then, if he drops a Key Item when you kill him, complete the mission. If not, just reset. Very efficient because that mission is particularly easy and you can quickly figure out if you're going to get the Dragon Ball or not.
Also, yesterday I noticed that the big floaty screen in Toki Toki shows an image of you. Reminds me of how stores will have cameras and will have a monitor set up so you can see yourself on it as you get in (To remind you that there are cameras recording you, I guess).

It starts out with you fighting Krillin, Yamcha, and Tien.
if you're levels above that quest then you can take out those 3 in only a few hits.
once they're dead there is a chance for a time patroller to spawn right at the entrance of the building you star at.
kill him, if no dragonball drops, just hit retry.
If it does drop, go into the next area and kill gohan and picolo, again it only takes a few hits.

I already finished up my farming for now. Got on earlier and got the last two in a little less than fifteen minutes. Will try it next time I want to get dragon balls, though. PQ12 on only takes about 3 minutes to complete for me, but I have to stretch it out to five because I don't want to fight Frieza.
Now I'm working on getting Super Saiyan Vegeta. The only problem, though, is Steam keeps screwing it up. Three times in a row I tried doing the mission. Each time Steam disconnects (nothing but Steam) and tells me there is a maintenance. Then a few moments later, it reconnects. The problem is, whenever steam has connection problems, it causes the game to disconnect me as well.

I'd say get into the game, at the main menu disconnect your internet. Go in the game as offline mode then reconnect your internet. You won't have access to the gift giving or seeing others in the multi lobby but you can play single player without any kind of disconnect and still join/host a lobby to play with others.
