What's it like?

It's great. If you've ever played a DBZ game before, you'd know what it's like. The game has certain MMO features like Leveling Up, Gearing Up, Customization, etc. At it's core, it's a Fighting game based on DBZ, with a story mode as well as an offline/online side mission mode. I like that you can not only make and play your own character, but you can unlock other characters and play as them as well.

If you're a PC junky (which I primarily am yet I like my PS4 for a lot of things too), then the game comes out on Steam on the 27th for PC. I do highly recommend getting a controller if you want to play the game though. Fighting games in general tend to be harder to play with just a keyboard. :P

tl;dr: I would definitely recommend it.

PS3 controllers themselves work great now, just gotta get a dxwrap or whatever the hell it's called.

Aside from the awkward way to add a friend to the favorites list, I enjoy the online play quite a bit. Much better than having the odd AI characters floating around doing so little.

Got my Kaioken x3 and SSJ earlier. I'm at level 20-something. So far I've thoroughly gimped myself. At first I was trying to build a melee, but literally everyone says to focus on Ki so I started doing that after I had spent 30-35 points working on a melee build. I'll have to summon Shenron and get a reroll to ungimp him. My character should still work out fairly well (I hope), just not as min-max as I would like.

As soon as I get a character slot I'm going to make a Nemekian tanky-brawler.


Edit: Went ahead and did some grinding for Dragon Balls. I got five, so just two more. Gotta get off for now, though.
