    Default With the lack of good new mmorpgs, lets talk classics! (Private servers?)

    Hey everyone, with the lack of good new mmorpgs coming out, I was wondering if ya'll knew any good oldies that are either still booming in their official servers, or some that have some really solid private servers.

    I've revisited some good games I've liked in the past in terms of private servers and so far I've quite enjoyed all of them.

    These would only include:

    -Ragnarok
    -Flyff
    -Runescape

    I'm sure there are a lot of people who are in the position as me so any comments/suggestions to help further this thread would be wicked!

    Thanks for taking the time to read and feel free to add your 2 cents

    You aren't allowed to discuss pservers here. In terms of official servers

    Flyff = Dead
    Ragnarok = So pay to win if you ask advise on how to make okay gold everyone will tell you to cash + freemium service
    Runescape = I quit around the time that Guthix map was put in ( 08 maybe? ) was an okay game, but it really started to ..... feel off to me, idk.

    The issue with classics is they are from a time where it was expected to take years to be "good" in the game. A lot of classics are also VERY offputting for new players to join, as they already have established player bases, and the economies are usually structured in a way for the cash shop to dominate the markets, since a lot of players continueing to play these games don't like to shell out money on them ( just look at why Lucent Heart shut down the first time. And before anyone says that was because beanfun closed its US doors, no, Lucentheart shut down before this ).
