Autographs

Lots of celebrities autograph for free, however, there are also quite a few that charge their fans for their signatures and pictures.

I can understand the latter when it's people who haven't had a job in decades and it's their only form of income other than dwindling royalties but the people who are in current successful projects and still convention hop to charge their fans large amounts of money seem a bit odd.

Nathan Fillion(Castle/Firefly), for example,is currently convention hopping and in most cases is the most expensive at $100 for a signed photo.

What do you think about actors selling their autographs/photos? How much is too much?

my mom ran into patrick stewart at a hotel in LA. he signed her napkin or somethin, and my mom gave it to my grandma (who is a huge trekkie). my grandma cried when she got it haha.

I don't care since I'd never pay for an autograph.
Only time I wanted an autograph was when I met the guys from studio Trigger, but I forgot the stuff I wanted them to sign twice. So meh.

I think charging money for autographs is the ultimate scumbaggery move. It completely changes my opinion of the person.
