so i think i narrowed down the culprit i think my hd is bad i was doing a chkdsk scan got to 11% then bsod critical service failure windows is always corrupt after a reinstall i uncorrupt it dism tool and still get bsod should i buy a new hd ??

Reputation: 733Download HDTune and take a screenshot of the Health tab. After posting said screenshot here, do an error scan (fast one will be OK unless you want to wait ages). I think it's self-explanatory about the results of the scan.

Reputation: 317Or use crystal disk. HDtune is easy mode, while crystal disk is the better program. Though, if you get the "n/a" at drive health on HDtune you can just go replace it.

okay bunz got a new one for you so i made a new disk to reinstall windows got this error windows cannot install required files for installation error code 0x80070250 but the old disk installed it fine zzz
