    Default Case and motherboard recommendations?

I'll be upgrading into a i7 4790k, definitely overclocking it. Looking to see what kind of motherboard would be best to go with what I'll be using, including a GTX 780.

Aside that, any case recommendations? Mid or full? I would like something that's roomy and with something that has good cooling options as well. So far I've been recommended the Fractal R5 case, but seeing if there's any other options..

    Any higher-end Z97 MoBo (+-150USD) will do.
Mid or full depends entirely on your CPU cooling, SLI/CF and to a lesser extent PSU (ever had short cables in a full tower?). The R5 is a very good case so you wouldn't really need to look at others.

    Either way, budget?

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.

Probably less than $200-300. I already have other parts available, which I don't need to purchase. I just am more worried about the case and mobo.

With the Fractal case. Seems like the best bet.

I'm proud of you for advising a fractal case :3

[EDIT] you could also go cheapo and get a MSI krail z97s sli edition. Pretty simple mobo, but it actually is pretty good for OC'ing. Other than that if you want a mobo that makes it even easier to OC, you could probably go for a higher grade asus mobo, like the Asus sabertooth z97 mark 1.

    .
Well, the thing is I've already been recommended that case in particular, and seems like no other recommendations were made.
