Reputation: 677I hate it that people buy premade spice mixtures for every shit now. Everything tastes the ****ing same... It's not as if some simple selection of spices wouldn't get you through the day. However, all the shops I shop at don't even carry basic stuff like cumin or coriander anymore.

My only consolation is that one day she will hopefully become self aware enough to look back on this kinda thing and need to drink herself into accepting it.
Edit: Also, we don't really do recipes here. We combine ingredients that look good together and sometimes they are, sometimes they aren't. The good ones we make again, but it's never the same since I sure as hell don't remember what I cooked even 5 minutes later, and my mom is usually drinking a lot of wine when she's cooking.
But my friends say we've got the best food on the block, so there's that. One thing we do that is a local favorite and you literally can't even find it 30 minutes away from us in restaurants or in peoples homes is:

You can leave out the spicy stuff if you're on a horrible new medication that gives you heartburn even from things like a turkey sandwich like me. Also we don't do the olives since I don't like them unless they're stuffed with garlic or cheese.
