Time to start hoarding snacks and planning to call in sick—the WildStar Free-to-Play update, WildStar: Reloaded, launches September 29!

WildStar: Reloaded includes BIG changes to core game systems; a new character creation and intro experience; improvements to dungeons, itemization, tradeskills, world bosses and group content; a class stat revamp; new quality of life features, bonus events, the Cosmic Rewards program, and so much more.

Players who want a little more can choose to join WildStar Signature service, which provides new bonuses and rewards on top of the basic game. They can also visit the in-game Store, a new interface which sells cosmetic improvements, character services, progression boosts, and other goodies. The Store accepts good ol' Earth cash or the new OmniBits currency. What are OmniBits? Only money you can earn just by playing the game, accomplishing goals, and killing all kinds of stuff, that's what!

Don't want to wait? If you’re itching to come back and blow things up immediately in the period before the free-to-play conversion, you’ll earn Cosmic Reward points for the Cosmic Rewards program—and any leftover time when Reloaded launches will automatically convert to Signature service. Current subscribers are also guaranteed access to beta test the WildStar: Reloaded update. Not subscribed? You can sign up for a chance to participate and help kick off the second phase of our beta that starts today (September 3). And those with access who log in to the beta realm will be given a “Freelancer” title for all their characters to use after the Reloaded launch.

Amazing news.. I for one hope that it is very successful and not just a niche game like it has been. Only time will tell..

I also am waiting for Blade and Soul, which is going to be huge most likely. Both games I plan to sub to for a long time (already am subbed to Wildstar until at least October 2016 :P)..

Did you also buy stuff with your credit? Because that goes to it too. From what I understand any and all buy credit KRED goes to your stock pile of rewards.

I'm actually looking forward to this. It's going to be nice to be able to play a game with a shit ton of other people again. There really hasn't been a big server rush on an MMO for a while.

Is this game ok for solo play? I got a key way back when in the humble bundle and I've been looking for an MMO to kill some time. Last I heard the raiding was incredibly annoying with a single person screwing up wiping out the entire raid and that there wasn't much to do at cap other than raid and a little pvp. I like games were I can log in, do a few dailies during the week and then play the market a bit by farming stuff solo.

I like games were I can log in, do a few dailies during the week and then play the market a bit by farming stuff solo.

A lot of the dungeons have been tuned down a bit to be more forgiving for pugs and such if you wanted to get into that at all, it's a little less strict on new players, raiding is still relatively the same, takes more than one bad dps ignoring boss mechanics to wipe if you want to get into that, more zones are constantly being made into daily cross faction zones so you're all set there.

All in all it's just a bit easier now that it's transitioning to F2P.

Yep. You need 2 desks (Corner Desk). One for Monitors. One for Baby, Diaper Bag, etc. You're set for hours and hours!

I only bought ingame c.r.e.d. cause it was so cheap. Don't think that counts. Only thing I care about is if I'll get the 15k points or not, lol

How active is the game? Last time i read it was very un active. I like the looks of player houseing. Been a long while since i played a mmorpg.
