Mythros allows for you to assume the role of any heroic character you can think up. Our rich backstory and lore allows for you to build your own character and adventure with your friends, or kick back in one of the many taverns and social areas to play music, tell tales or plan new adventures.
Mythros will be FREE to play at launch. We are set on providing a fair and free experience for all players of Mythros, and all that will be required to play is a Minecraft account.
Currently, Mythros is in Pre-Alpha and is not available to play. For more information about early access to Mythros, please visit our store.
We aim to create a long-lasting community driven environment for you and your friends to complete new content, explore new lands and discover new skills within. For continued updates on our development, please consider following us on Twitter, YouTube or join us on our community forums!
I'd support this though admittedly it does just look like a seriously hard-core and awesome Minecraft mod-pack. I might even be tempted to spend ten or twenty bucks and drop into the Alpha/Beta, depending on how the loot works. I know they showed off the "workshop" - what ever that is, and their were a ton of neat looking items in it, but i'm not sure if these items are going to be weapons and capes and such our characters will be able to find o-o
Edit: Nevermind that's exactly what this is, a super-awesome minecraft modpack o3o
My interest is peaked, even though we don't have cool items to show off e.e
InTheLittleWood ran one of the dungeons earlier this year, frankly it looks freaking awesome. That and seeing this Workshop thing makes me think their'll be actual loot and such in the game rather than just re-named iron-gold-Diamond items meant to represent weapons.
Thank you so much for posting about Mythros on OnRPG! It's been awhile since I've frequented these forums, but its really exciting to see our project posted here!
It seems a few are coming from here over to our own forums. You are all very welcome to join in our conversations. If you have any questions, I'd be more than happy to answer them here or there!
Another video that might be worth watching... 20ish minute Q&A with myself:
Our aim is to treat Mythros not as a modpack, but as its own game. We're changing almost everything about the base game. Even down to things as (often thought to be) unimportant as user interface, or character voice acting.
I won't rattle off a list of what we're doing as there are plenty of videos and Mythros forum posts explaining it in detail, but it's free to sign up to our community and we'd love to invite you over to see what we're up to
