Default Dragons Prophet closing November 16th North America

Dragon's Prophet Discontinuing North American Operation
    10-02-2015
    Greetings Dragons Prophet Community,
We are posting today to inform you that, after careful consideration and review, Runewaker Entertainment and Daybreak Game Company have decided to discontinue operation of Dragon’s Prophet in North America. This shutdown was a very difficult decision for us, but both companies have agreed that this November is the appropriate time to close the North American servers.
We are extremely grateful to all the Dragon’s Prophet community members and appreciate the support we’ve received from each and every one of you. We plan to make additional seasonal content and items available during the final weeks of the game and hope you enjoy them.
The North American servers will be closed on Monday, November 16, 2015, however the game will continue to operate in Europe and Asia under different publishers.
Again, we want to thank each and every one of you for making Dragon’s Prophet’s Auratia both a vibrant and exciting world.

    FAQ
Dragon’s Prophet will be closing down North American servers on Monday, November 16, 2015.
Can I play for free before it closes?
Yes. Dragon’s Prophet remains free-to-play in North America and you can continue to create new characters and play the game until the last day. You will need a Daybreak Account which are also free and you can get one here:
    https://www.daybreakgames.com/register
    What about All Access players?
The All Access program includes EverQuest, EverQuest II, PlanetSide 2, and DC Universe Online and is not affected by this closure. Dragon’s Prophet was never added to the All Access program.
Can I still use my Daybreak Cash on items in the Dragon’s Prophet in-game marketplace?
On October 2, 2015 most items in the Dragon’s Prophet in-game marketplace will be reduced to low Daybreak Cash prices for you to enjoy over the last few weeks. You will be able to use any remaining Daybreak Cash in your wallet for these items until Dragon’s Prophet closes. You can also use Daybreak Cash in other Daybreak games (even after November 16th).
Can I continue to buy more Daybreak Cash in Dragon’s Prophet until it finally closes?
We have stopped selling additional Daybreak Cash to Dragon’s Prophet players from in-game.
I already bought a Daybreak Cash game card. Can I still redeem it for Daybreak Cash?
Yes because you can still use your Daybreak Cash for items in other Daybreak Games (or Dragon’s Prophet items until November 16, 2015).
If I don’t use all of my Daybreak Cash, can I get a refund?
There are no Daybreak Cash refunds. However, you can continue to use Daybreak Cash in other Daybreak games where Daybreak Cash is used.
What about my Customer Service ticket which is already open?
Current Customer Service tickets will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Can I transfer my character from a North American server to a European server?
There is no mechanism or software support for transferring a character to another publisher.

    What the ****

Now that I have that out of my system (My ****ing dragons, my Founder's Pack, my Holiday packs.... ;A, I'm not really surprised. It's been obvious that Dragon's Prophet was side-lined for quite some time now. They essentially only had one person (that I know of) working on the game, and one person doing the community side of things, I believe. Dragon's Prophet NA never got much love for some reason, while Europe seemed to get a lot of unique content/events/support from Runewaker. What does surprise me, though, is how long they've strung it along.

That being said, nothing pisses me off more than a game that is a huge cash-sink that shuts it down without providing some kind of transfer of services to another version of the game. Some people have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on Dragon's Prophet and now that's gone for them.

Glad I didn't put any money into it. Way too P2W. Not that surprised others didn't either.

I knew it, the game was shit.
Funny enough that Runes of Magic (virtually the predecessor game) is up since 2008 and hasn't been shutdown yet.
