It's already out and in my opinion it's nothing new.. Anyways the closed beta started on the 18th and all the accounts will be wiped and it will go into open beta on the 25th, tomorrow. x.
is it a grind fest too? how are the quests?
Guys dont evert Get
G GS GT GTX Cards they suck
Wait for Normal ones to come out
My 6600-PCI-X is faster than a 7600GT(But the gt has more memory)
Im talking about Nividia Cards
You have no idea what you're talking about, GS, GT, GTX are superior than the normal ones.
For nVidia, ones to avoid are XT and LE.
GX2 > GTX > Ultra > GT > GS > Normal > XT = LE
General rule is to look at the card number first then the suffix, a 7600GT would **** a normal 6600 several times over.
On topic, i've got to lvl 25 in about 5 days, played around 5 hours + a day. First 10 lvls is a breeze and is pretty much a introduction to the game. Can get to lvl 13 in 4 hours. After that it becomes a bit of a grind.
Loads of quests, I had 14 going on at once, heard that around lvl 30, quest become less frequent. Quest after lvl 20 are pretty hard to do, recommend you party up for the tough ones or just lvl up for it.
In this game you're not really grinding for exp, you're grinding for JP(job points) to lvl up your skills. You have no control over your base stats. Variety comes from different skills player decides to specialise in, this to me is a breath of fresh air compared to other mmos, potential for a lot of fighting styles.
Pets in this game are also a nice addition and adds a new dimension to the grind, you can choose to focus on your pets, make them stronger to help you in battle or neglect this option for other reasons. This adds more variation compared to other mmos.
Battles can get tactical, since chips and pets come into play, chips are debuffing items.
The music is superb and the graphics are nice, but you really need a decent graphic card to enjoy it, don't really want to play at low settings.
I think Rappelz is by far one of the better F2P mmos out there, worthy to be P2P in some aspects.
Right now i've stopped playing with my main character, just trying out others classes and waiting for open beta.
For open beta I think i'll be a Deva Divine Warrior/Bow user or a Gaia Fighter/Bow users and go melee if need be  .
Heres Rappelz in all its glory.
