    Default Gaming Forum Reorganization

    Hey community,

Tomorrow we're going to be pushing a slight tweak to improve communication flow in our forum gaming section and make things a little bit less intimidating for newcomers looking to join into a conversation. At the request of one of our mods, we're bringing back the game specific sub-forums in limited use for our active most popular game discussions.

This is for two reasons. One is so you don't have to feel like you're fighting with every other poster in a megathread to get something answered. You'll be able to have multiple threads about one game without worry of it getting merged into one conversation. The second reason is we've seen these sub-forums to pop up on search engines with decent regularity, so we hope to bring new members into the community who search the game and stumble on our guides, guild recruiting, and other conversations on the game.

We'll also be moving the gaming section to the top of the forums so its the first section new forum members will see and take part in.

I have a decent idea of which games we're going to be adding as trial sub-forums but if you feel there is a less obvious one that a few of our regulars play and would talk about, drop a line in the comments below for consideration. Sub-forums we find to be inactive for a week will also be removed going forward to keep having a hundred inactive sub-forums as was the case once upon a time.

New Rule: These sub-forums will be meant as a place for discussing said game, not discussing if said game is worth playing. The general MMORPG hub will still be the place for such debates of what to play, or if a game is worth your time. If we find a user specifically going into the sub-forums to trash talk the game, bans will be used.

    Current Planned Sub-forums:
    Guild Wars 2
    WildStar
    Tree of Savior
    First Assault
    Dragomon Hunter
    Blade & Soul

Seems like a good idea to me.

Might make sense to follow the flow of conversation in the Free MMO section and make topics that match that.

For example, Screenshot threads are always popular, and having a screenshot thread for individual games allows for more context and direct conversation over whatever is depicted in the screenshots.

"What are you playing" could be adapted into a more "What are you doing?" kinda thread. I think having a couple of stickies in each section that keep a consistent conversation could work quite well.
And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear.

You shout and no one seems to hear.
