My Theroy= They say if you go the speed of light then you go into the future, but if you go faster than the speed of light you will go back in time... So if you had a mashine that could shoot you up at the speed of light and make you come back down alittle bit slower than the speed of light and thus makeing a time mashine?
In theroy this will work... I was watching the Discovery and they where talking about if we went the speed of light.

if you went faster then the speed of light 2 things would happen
A: you'd die
B: time isn't light, you would just see what has already happened, and see things after they happened, because it wouldn't reach you at the time.

Actually... a black hole is nothing... So there is a way to have absolutley nothing.
I bieleve there is also no way to go faster than time, I find it impossible. To go really fast, but time travel not only has several issues (see Back to the Future 1/2/3) but then brings about the existance of parralel univeres's.

If you were to go as fast as the speed of light, THAT in turn could affect you being able to do it in the first place. Time travel is uber dumb seckx to the max, leave it at that.

Some scientists have a theroy that a Black hole is a tear in our universe from to many Exotic particles. And that theroy got ruined when Stargate SG-1 took up that idea and made it look like it was nothing.

umm... don't we already base life on theories and probabilities?
And black holes run galaxies, they are the power source pretty much, so I don't think that "nothing" can run a galaxy, and since aren't black holes created after a sun or something along those lines goes kaput, and the extreme gravitational pull sorta makes a black hole? You know, I wonder what would happen if we were to send a little space thing with a camera into a black hole... and if it is nothing, what happens to everything that goes inside? and yes we're having a serious discussion on stuff we can't understand.
