to be honest im not entirely sure yet ._. since i haven't actually played the game, how's the character customization? if there's no variation between same characters then i'll just pick the character nobody plays -.-

You can buy different clothes and weapons for characters. There is also a Swimsuit edition of each character.

And you can add runestones to weapons/armors. They modify stats and such.
There's the Skill Hive which allows players to receive 9 modifiers (+HP etc) and a final skill...
No one likes Xiyun because she's ridiculously weak compared to...everyone.
And the NPC version keeps dying in that one Red Mission.
