They both have the same graphics.

Once you have the client installed, all you need from here on is the cd keys.

The game installs very strangely. I like it, but strange.

I purchased GW at NCSoft's own gaming site. PlayNC..... I purchased a CD key rom the site after I created myself a PlayNC account.

After you purchase the CD key its stay in your account online as permanent proof that you own the game.

Once you have the CD key, you only need to download the client. This client is small.

After its done installing, just load it. It will patch from there. Patching and updating may take a while.

Once its done you will have your sign-in window.

After your sign-in, you go to char creation/selection screen and there you go......

HINT: If it feels like its taking a long time to load a map the first time you enter it, it is a long time. Its installing that part of the game that you do not have on your system.

This is why I say the install is strange. It only updates and Installs map data only if you go to that place.

Dont worry, once its done the first time, only updates that will patch will be the ones that come in the future. They tend to patch fast.

Its a very smart way of creating a way to get into the game fast. But if its your first time playing the game, expect patching in every area that you never been to yet.

And to your last post..... GW and GW: Factions has thier own "unique features" to contribute to the game. GW was designed to properly introduce new players to the game. It gives you a lot to work with and a lot of maps to have fun in.

Factions, It goes right into it.You have a small turorial but its just gets right into the action.

Yes, its about the same price as you would get it in the store.

Like I said before, if you want to purchase it online, might as well make a PlayNC account and purchase it and keep permanent records with Play NC.

    Just go to PlayNC.com ( http://www.plaync.com/us/account/ )
and in the leftside menu, hit the link that says ACCOUNT.... then create.

Once you do, go to manage account, then begin to purchase. I used my debit card to purchase any games from PlayNC.com.

    Have fun.

LMFAO, your joking..... I hope your joking. a lot of grinding.... sorry no grind to the game. you can max your char lvl out within 2 days( and its not even a full 2nd day). You must be playing someother game or you really never played GW.

Personally, I would go with Guild Wars: Prophecies, its a lot longer, bigger, and more challenging.

Also, an explanation of adding on other guild wars titles onto an existing guild wars account. Say I buy the first guild wars, prophecies and I want to play factions. I have to purchase factions to get the key for it, then add the key to the existing account. That will let me create Factions characters as well as allowing current characters to travel to Factions. You cannot access Factions unless you buy Factions.
