Reputation: 21You're obviously going about it the wrong way.
side-note: Not the best render for pop-outs
Now, for one, you have to completely clear the white area from the image, make sure it's on transparent mode, then go to save for web under file, and it should already be in gif format, just click save.
Reputation: 13Lol i never use transpernt i do it the simple way, screen shot and copy the color off then board then fill it where it needs to be :P... n e ways bad render its too blury but good consept and yoru getting the hand of it![]()
Reputation: 21If you ask me, that's WAY more complicated. xD
Reputation: 23Rawr, >the render doesn't matter, nor the crappy background, and it was blurry from the shrink. This was just an example. Anyways, I saved it with .gif this time, and it said stuff about gif. is for anamations and it totaly messed up the picture!!

Well, actually... I don't save it at all. I just work on the signature I'm going to use it as right away and then save THAT as a PNG
I'll go get rid of the white parts for you...
It'll only take a few seconds
*brb*
EDIT:
How's this? o_O?

Reputation: 23That's pretty kickass, but this was just an example.I'll probably just stay away from pop out sigs for a while!

Yeah, as I said before:
Also, expect to fool around with the Tolerance (I think that's what it's called) setting a bit to make it fit exactly to the render. Like, for your example signature, I had to use different tolerances so then it would stick to the render instead of letting some white parts slipI just normally get rid of the (usually) white parts that I don't want with the wand tool and then save the image as a PNG!
EDIT: It really isn't that hard -.-

this may help you?
Reputation: 23I'll probably just use the background color as the background, I know you can can the difference in this one, but i'll make it lighter so it will match. The tutorials were for photoshop, so they were harder to follow, and still if I saved as .gif it ruins the image.
