This game has gotten me interested. The fact that you join a village and contribute to it, build your house in it, it just sounded pretty shnazzy. But is it free, pay to play, pay to play when you reach a certain level? This might be the game that could kill time for me until Phantasy Star Universe comes along.

As far as I know, when it comes to pay to play or f2p and whatnot, its just like Runescape, a teaser of sorts, it lets you play a "Basic" account with limited advantages and then once your addicted enough, they have you trapped to upgrade to the Premium Account.

actually it's not really that much like the runescape pay scheme.Yes if you don't buy premium(which is actually pretty damn cheap at 10 euros for 2 months) you can't get your skills above 20 or run your own village..but it takes a week or so to get a couple of skills to 20 anyway and you can do just about everything else a premium can do.

:edit: anyways if anyone starts playing msg stampede and i'll help you out

I thought this game was far more immersive than Runescape would ever hope to be.

Of course if you don't have the patience to play this game, I wouldn't recommend it to you.

I was playing this game about for 2 years stoped last year, This game is alsome! You can go exploaring make a house in a sacluded moutain area star farming it and stuff, go fishing , cook, smith and mine,

And so much more its nothing like runescape!

Runescape- Grind grind grind wee im level 10 grind grind grind wee level 50 and you know what theres no difrence!

In Wurm you ccan do what YOU want!

Wurm has a big area to exploar! And its huge! There are NO premade towns or npcs! You make everything!

I like this game but I have alot of trouble with food which kind of put me off from it. And alot of people tend to try to turn you into a slave by takeing advantage of a newbies food problem..

That would probably be the right thing to do.. But i'm an unsocial bum and choose to sit in the middle of the woods fearing a spider ( Their huge and mean in Wurm ) might eat me until morning and try to do something to improve my situation.. =x

ahh this game does bring back many fond memories, starting out as a noob u noe lost in the middle of nowhere trying to stay alive and stuff, till this guy helped me and gave me the key and deed to an old house he didnt want. It was so cool, then i met this guy his nick was Wintersolstice if u see him ingame be his friend he should help you, then i joined his village far secluded away from everything, the Ghost Alliance or something if i remember. This is a good game and much better than runescape IMO. Quite addictive but now that its gone gold, i have no intention of playing again.

Well, as far as I know everything is basicly the same, premium just lets you onto wild server, let you get to the 100 skill cap, etc, so the features don't seem to be restricted, I've built houses before so no that doesn't take premium, its hard work though. Its a pretty time consumeing game if you want to accomplish anything such as building a house, fenceing it in, and starting a farm and such, if thats what you wanted to do.

And I don't think the game makers have made an effort to advertise yet sense their trying to polish off some things and throw in some more junk.

When i use to play there were over 100-150 usualy. So wow 40 lol! But the higher the skill level the more things you can do. You cant make like ovens and stuff till about lvl 30 or your keep failing at makeing it.
