If all you want is great story you can play through all eight class stories for free and some of them (especially the Agent) are really good. It has pets, mounts, and good enough graphics (in my opinion) to not be considered overly animated. Of course if you don't pay some of the activities in the game are a bit limited, but for just going through the stories that doesn't matter in the slightest.If those don't work for you, not sure what else to recommend honestly. Good luck with your hunt in any case.[edit] Forgot one, you could also try Guild Wars 2. The base game is 100% free and has very few restrictions for free players. Fair warning though, the expansion is a vastly different game compared to the base game.
