Any decent mmo?
Been getting more and more bored at current mmo's. Ones that caught my attention have dwindled and moved on from them because of reasons. The only one I know of isn't even coming to playtest till next year. Only way to get in seems to be if you're lucky or pay $200 (alpha) or $100 (beta, ashes of creation). Is 2017 a drought for mmo's?

its drought for people that think "new" means "good" old does not mean it's obsolete. if you really want to have fun, your only option is to return to the old mmorpgs.
maplestory, latale, dungeon fighter online, world of warcraft, guild wars 2, final fantasy online, ragnarok, blade&soul, tera, elsword and tree of savior.
perhaps you need to consider a new genre, playing one genre can get old very fast, i play rts, moba, tcgs from time to time.
have you tried master x master? it's a moba with wasd controls and has some pve content, there is also an arena mode without minion killing / objective capturing involved.
you can even try duel of summoners, it might feel a bit grindy if you aim for the ranking in daily draft but there is always weekly draft, monthly ranking which is rather easy to reach. there is also shadowverse which is alot funner and less grindy for me but these two are both great options.

Like Celia said there are many mmorpgs out there that are great but if u are burned out on mmorpg genre everything will seem bad and not worth your time recently after finishing gw2 new expansion i switched to pubg and playing some SP ARPG's jsut for simple fun before next big content for gw2 or new wow expansion

Not really burnt out per say. I mean I've played most of the mentioned above. I also play other genre like vainglory, d3, fortnite, ark: survival evolved, and etc. The problem is I always get so far that I start to see problems or I played so much I've run out of content and repeat.
I even played elite dangerous, I'm a slave trader and earned quite a lot with anaconda trader ship. But it becomes quite time consuming doing that or bored because it ends up being a solo thing.
Basically when things starts to become really repetitive, I get bored. Ex. FFXIV endgame repeat dungeons for gears one way or another. BDO grind hours for exp to level/money (I just leave this game in the background to do afk things now). Or just simply log in to do daily's. When it reaches that point it usually is when I look for a "new" mmo. The next new title.

so you want a mmorpg and one that has no repetative stuff at end game ? ... i suggest stop playing mmorpgs thensolved

Shameless plug for my favorite game right now, but Warframe is about to drop a major update that includes a bunch of stuff to go after in an open world setting. Might at the very least interest you for a while.

If an item can be farmed without daily lock walls i will go for it non stop lool i dont play with content if it can be farmed i will do it and repeat the process ... i am the type who finiahes new stuff and repeats ... my playstyle aint that different from yours... believe me we just like different things

Thing is in MMORPGs its not all about gameplay and content, its also interaction with other people. Its why tend to play lesser known MMOs more, they usually have better community. But yea atm there arent that many new mmorpgs, Tera EU added a fresh new server, Wildstar is slowly dying, Riders of Icarus looks decent and I think thats about it, right? At the moment I am waiting for MU Legends.

mu legend is the exact mmorpg you should be avoiding, the korean version is p2w and dying faster than wildstar, echo soul online, devilian.
it has so many bugs and lag that won't be fixed, it seems like they're just milking off their diablo 3 rip off for another cash grab rip off
c9 did the same thing and so did sun online, koreans ignore webzen for this very reason.

If you play MMOs for a lot of hours, you'll find yourself switching to the next one sooner. It happens to me as well, FFXIV for example, when Stormblood released I played a lot, go to max level fast, was geared up pretty much first in the guild, did all the EX trials and then shortly after I quit. Can't be bothered to farm the same content I have already beaten, because the difficulty is trivial at that point and it's all up to my group on whether we can clear a boss or not, since I have already mastered the fight.
There's a few things you can do to "combat" this behaviour, if you don't like having to constantly look for new MMOs:
- play less, do more rl stuff
- play different games that aren't MMOs, there's a lot of fun games to be found
- play a competitive pvp game, these are a "grind" as well if you want to get good, but at least for me it's a more fun type of grind, since playing against/with other players changes how the game goes from match to match, not making it as repetitive as PvE boss fights, which are pretty much the same from first time you do it to the last time

Imo, you perhaps have too much time to play :P
I'm sort of in the same boat, pretty much quit mmorpgs even tho I sometimes have nostalgia and play a mmorpg again till I get bored...usually a few days at most.
I guess the genre is a bit much stale right now. After playing most P2P/B2P/F2P i'm back at Diablo 2 when I have some free time, which is very little these days anyways.
So my advice is to play whatever you feel like playing, don't think about how repetitive it is/was and just play and enjoy while it lasts, then take a break and/or jump into another game.
