I love that any character on an account can deposit or withdraw refined astral diamonds from the shared bank.
The revamped character select screen.
And being able to retrain separately powers, feats, ability scores, and boons is awesome too.
I loved this module, it's the best in years, the dark/gothic theme got me, the new hunt mechanics, the QoL updates and the changes to trickster rogues.
I like the dream pastries quest storyline a lot. Its a carryover from the D&D 5th Edition Curse of Strahd campaign book.
The quest storyline goes something like this:
3 hags moved into an old windmill and have begun selling "dream pastries" to Barovian Citizens. These pasteries are enchanted and when a person eats one, they fall asleep and dream of a heavenlike safe place, a place free of the misery and monsters that torment them when they are awake.
Many townsfolk of Barovia have become addicted to these pastries and you are sent to the mill to investigate what is going on.
You end up fighting and killing the hags and you also find out that one of the essential ingredients of these pastries is the ground up bones of a child with a soul. The hags have gotten some buyers so addicted to these pastries that they end up selling their children to the hags to be slaughtered for more pastries.

I love the new Swarm bat with its epic active combat power!
I love the new Queue system, and the new updated user interface.
Sharing of the Astral Diamonds is now easier than ever too
There is so much to this mod. Changes to account wide Astral Diamonds, New Hunts, The artwork on Castle Ravenloft is incredible, and the land of Barovia has been captured so very well. What I really like is the way that the devs have brought the Barovia of the D&D universe to life. As someone who played the very first D&D Ravenloft module over thirty years ago, it feels like coming home.
I love the changes to the dungeon que..the astral diamonds.. the sealof the brave has become reachable.. the whole area of Ravenloft and the campaign..the hunts are done in a much better manner.. probably the mod in a looooooong time!!
I love everything about this mod 14.. they did a great job with alot of the changes and love the area! Love the campaign!! Looking forward to seeing the new Dungeon!!
One of the best aspects about the new mods and that most people isn't really talking about it is how easy is to respec a few skills or points in your character now, it is also very cheap too since we have to do a full respec before even if you only wanted to change one point. The new hunt system is really nice, a lot of people is playing together now since the old hunts were better if you were farming alone.
The ability to turn into a bat swarm is pretty cool. The ambiance and atmosphere is an iconic part of the AD&D genre and is cool to see first person view instead of minds eye view
I like the fact that you don't have to look over your shoulder to check for people hopping instances trying to steal your mobs anymore. This mod is much simpler, and mobs don't kick you off your mount from a mile away.
