MS2 official launch set for 10/10

where from the sounds of it, items you earn here carry unto the full release. Also you'll be able to reserve your name this way too.

Yeah but at least currently, it's being handled like its own mode, which is a bit odd. So it seems the "name reservation" may just be for this BR mode.
I played it, it's alright I guess? But you definitely aren't winning solo since everything is a shotgun with a cd that does between 1/4 to 1/3 of someone's hp, so squads just stick together to one shot someone.
Their other "mini-games" are all held in the real game as occasional warp events, which I like. Good way to interact with other players while not making just more of the main game.

i wonder how small maplestory 2's playerbase would be after the hype train wears off, the korean version has about 4000 players ever since they were severly disappointed at the lack of content and updates
i would still play it since the graphics are adorable though.
