Looking back at my Captain's Log, I found I started in August of 2012 and played until the end of May 2013 when the Romulan expansion was introduced. When that happened I had to take a hiatus as my PC was no longer able to play the game. Came back in August 2017 and been playing off and on since. Mostly because of time constraints, not due to lack of interest. This is still the best Trek game I've ever played and a great MMO in general.
I've been playing since April 2017.
I was binging through all the shows and was so into it halfway through that I got into the game, and bought the Delta Pack only weeks later ... at full price.
Little did I know about the frequency of sales back then... ^^;
I have been playing since just after launch. I remember the old elite stf's and the grind to get that sweet Maco space set.
Not to mention the fun of playing all those missions for the first time.
I've been playing since beta, a lot has changed. Some things I miss like how armor you wore actually changed your appearance. Over all the game has come a long way and I believe it has only grown better. One think I do miss, at the end of beta BORG invading ESD. Oh the fun!
I've been playing since 2014. I remember that I had to get my Fed Character to level 20 to unlock the KDF (which was for PvP back then.) I remember when Legacy of Romulus dropped. I remember the hype over the mission "Sphere of Influence" because of Michael Dorn doing VA work for it, which was huge since IIRC it was one of 3 mission that had VA work back then!
I have been playing since 2013. Frankly, what got me hooked to star trek was the JJ-Trek and Into Darkness was the first Trek I watched. I then searched for an online game about Star trek. and bam. STO
I played a bit when the game first launched, but have really only been playing properly since Christmas. I definitely feel like I came back at the right time, with the amount of events going on.
I've been playing since Beta, this was the first game I ever pre-ordered! The Borg attack on ESD closing the Beta is one of my favorite video game moments ever, and it's hard to believe it's been 9 years already...
