I originally started playing Star Trek shortly after it went free to play way back in January of 2012 so I've been around for 7 or so years in STO. I didn't really get into Star Trek until my friends started playing after Legacy of Romulus was released sometime in May of 2013. Together we made a fleet and started our own little community which, unfortunately didn't last long but it was very fun while it did.
While my friends stopped playing I continued and started working on getting my way up the DPS charts. It took a while but I cracked 20k dps, then 50k and stopped trying at around 70k. I've stopped playing for a few years now and just about a week ago I picked it back up and this giveaway is perfect for me as I don't have a T6 Tactical focused ship and carriers are my absolute favorite style of ship to play in Star Trek.
