LoL you seem to be a WoW fanboy so of course you would say that. Last year in October a glitch in a new WoW addon allowed a company to see User Subscription End Dates which allowed them to estimate the total number of WoW subscribers. Before that no one knew the exact number because Blizzard refused to reveal it. As of October of last year AFTER the new expansion was out they still had less than 2 million subscribers sitting at around 1.7. SEVERAL mmos have higher subscription numbers than that like FFXIV and ESO even is close at an estimated 1.2 million subscribers for a buy to play mmo. And then if you take into consideration the other buy to play games such as Black Dessert online and Guild Wars 2 who have active members over a million, you have several games doing just as well and a few better than WoW. All it is going to take for Wow to fall below 1 million will be a new MMO that catchs like fortnite did. And with several set to release "Next Gen" MMOs in the next few years its looking to happen soon.
