Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is the upcoming expansion to Monster Hunter: World and a new subspecies variation of monsters was revealed, as well as the new gathering hub, Seliana. Subspecies are twisted, extreme variations of monsters that will seriously increase the difficulty of encounters, and will require master-level hunting skills to conquer.
