Either way, when Square Enix revealed the Gunbreaker class for Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers early this year, fans of the Final Fantasy series were thrilled. The gunblade has been an iconic weapon for modern Final Fantasy iterations. It’s the kind of weapon that says “Watch out, we’re dealing with a badass over here.”
