I try not to hate on people who enjoy Runescape too much, even though it's sort of a trope to hate on the game. I did play it briefly, but I was never super involved or delved into the lore. Still, interesting read.
i played the new runescape for a while and there were moments i was really enjoying myself, but once i hit the level 50 mark on most of my classes i realised the next 50 levels were gonna go exactly the same, but take probably 5 times as long. and thats when something snapped in me and i quit the next day lol. the progressive feeling was just gone.
edit: still this game has quests unlike any other game really, i wasnt into it very much myself. but if you're looking for somethign other then fetch quests then runescape got you covered
