    I can't say it was ALL bad, but it certainly wasn't good.

    Even without the monetization practices, I just feel like the changes they made to the gameplay are too much for me. I liked the classic Dr. Mario gameplay. I don't want it different. Improved, maybe, but not different.

    Agreed. And frankly the gameplay is only distantly related to Dr. Mario, especially when it starts adding in manufactured difficulties, like having to break blocks to find viruses in them.

    I think if you're younger, and didn't play the originals, but were an avid Candy Crush fan, you might get some enjoyment out of the title. But if you're looking for Dr. Mario classic, this aint it.
