Default Retro Romance: Your Favorite Retro Game

What's the one retro game you absolutely fell in love with?

For me, it was Shining Force. It was the first RPG I ever played on my own as a kid, the first one I ever beat. I had some SERIOUS emotional attachment issues to the characters. I still have my original cartridge & box, too.

Earthbound has to be my favorite SNES title ever, even though i never beat it. when it just released nobody knew of it or wanted to know of it, but just like fine wine, over the ages it got better and better and grew into a huge success.

this is how people should turn their imagination into a game, not that tripple A crap we see nowadays :P

I guess toy story for the Genesis lol...
Was one of the first games I had, and it didn't have a save feature so I had master the whole damn game to beat it in one go.

I'd never even heard of Earthbound as a kid, but I think I probably would have liked it if I had. It's definitely something that's become charming to me since, one of the best and more unique RPGs out there.

IDK if Stick RPG 2 is retro game or not, but what I know for sure is that I admire this game and I suggest everyone to take a look at it.

    Default Favorite Retro Games

Well, I still love to play my 90's retro video games that comes up within Video game cassetes like 64 in 1, 4 in 1 and they have priceless games. My childhood memories games like Mario, Contra, Tetris, Pac-Man, Double Dragon, Super Contra etc. I am still looking for that Samurai video game console which I had used in my childhood.

    Default Zelda 2

The first RPG I played, with my dad. We spent a long time completing it, not sure how long but it probably seems longer than it was considering my age at that time. We drew maps and made notes, etc.

Still, not sure I'd call it my favorite (retro) game, but a nice childhood experience certainly. Others I'd mention are Vagrant Story and FF9 (PSX). Those I remember a little better.
