    Learned a lot of great things these past few days for texture upscaling, like how a lot of models/textures that came from the nintendo switch can also be re-used for MH4U if you match up the names of the textures. also learned how to split alpha channel from a texture, upscale, and merge them again. its a lot of hard work but the results are instantly visible lol, its very addicting

    man this guy was tough for a low rank fight, i rather fight kirin in monster hunter world on low rank lol




    this was a little how-far-can-i-go test :P a 260mb 8192x8192 texture. runs surprisingly well






    edit: someone else from the MH4U HD team finished porting all monster textures from MHGU over, so they look amazing now.
    we are looking at uploading our mods on nexusmods but its kind of tricky. upscaled textures=ok, but re-using assets=not ok.
