MandoNet is proud to present the browser based MMORPG known as Kingdom Of Warlords.

Background Information:

This project was started back in February of 2006. I am the only developer of this project. I am 13 yrs old, and had decent knowledge of XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but was fairly new at PHP and MySQL. I decided I wanted to create an MMORPG, so I started when I began learning PHP. As I went along with PHP, I learned by creating Kingdom Of Warlords. As the game progressed, my PHP skill grew stronger. After about 2 months of development, I opened it up for beta testing over the summer. Wow, I remember getting up on the weekends, going to the KoW forums, and finding the Bug section of the forums flooded with reports. Players gaining massive amounts of attack skill by losing, obscene amounts of gold appearing from out of nowhere, free fortifications, etc. After a month of working out the major bugs, I took the game offline. The beta testers had served their purpose for the 1st beta round, which was to work out the major kinks with KoW's v1 engine.

At this point, the game was completely text based, with the exception of pictures for weapons and soldiers.

I began writing a MAJOR upgrade to the game engine. I added in guilds, spying, moderation systems, report systems, and the biggest of all: a 2D Tile Based Map. The map displays all users on a large map, depending on their coordinates. The tile varies depending on the user's fortification type. Many more features come along with the map.

Current Status:

Today I finished this development phase. v2 of the KoW engine was complete.

Now, the game will launch for beta testing in the very near future, I'm hoping within the end of October.

The game will feature a premium service, which for $5 - $7 per month (price being debated), you will receive many extra features (such as free attack units, defense units, gold, attack points, and much more).

At the end of development phase 2, the game name changed from Kingdom Of Warlordz to Kingdom Of Warlords (minor change for easier rememberance).

When the game is open, we will be performing a closed beta test round.

This means registrations will be closed, but I can set up the accounts myself so that you may login and test the game. This makes it easier for me so I don't have to manage large amounts of users while fixing bugs.

If you would like to be in the beta test round, let me know.
