leveling was so hard back then. right now its super easy till the hardest mode indeed

Yeah i played when the eng patch was still in its infancy. I was like huh this is fun, but Ill wait for the eng version since they announced it and that way my friends will play with me.
Now 8 years later.... lol

i didnt really state that your issue specific was a microsoft thing, i mean did u try changing the language to english? i doubt its the 'actual' japanese version


as for why you're game changed to japanese im not sure, is your pc region set to japanese by any chance?

That thread was worthless i'm not downloading the whole Japanese version just to switch to English. No my pc region isn't set to Japanese . For me this is a fault with the actual games launcher. The English client should have no connection to the Japanese version at all.

I suggest ANY new player to watch this video! I set it to the specific part where he shows a tip for choosing missions. Watch the whole thing, this was the biggest "OMFG" moment I ever had. That is just 1 example. I suggest watching a lot of this guys videos to get a decent understanding to the game.

cool im having a blast with the game, there are so many whales playing this game that the prices of costumes are dirt cheap now, and there are sooooo many lol, love how theres not 1 player in the game that looks the same. i think this game also still has the most character customisation options ever. you can even alter the position, size and angle of your accessories, or adjust the holster position of your weapon, i love it. you're in power to remove all clipping issues

Yeah while I havent been on as much as you, i too have gotten quite lucky with costumes. Cant afford one for this outfit just yet(400k) but all the other pieces were 100k. And yeah it's just as fun as I remember haha.

oh god i had that happen yesterday after buying the ragol edition. windows wanted to remove my base game in order to instal the ragol edition but both versions are exactly the same lol. i guess i was suposed to buy the fashion pack dlc instead. tweaker bypasses the whole silly microsoft store now thankfully. at first i got an error when opening the game again but https://na.arks-layer.com/setup.html instructions helped.

Thats the thing man, i hadnt touched pso2 for a few days lol. I logged out after having fun in the casino.
Anyways, i fixed it by retelling tweaker where pso2 was, it redid its permissions, then file checked 3 times over.
Im in now thankfully

man that final difficulty is a blast! on super hard it is filled with noobs who just meet the barely minimum level req and are poorly geared so it often fails urgent quests, but on
the hardest difficulty (whatever the name is) everyone is geared up and knows exactly what to do. also i feel like im playing a huge part in the dps role lol

I just downloaded the game. Thinking about giving it a try. I don't know what class to play. I wanted to be a summoner, but the fact that you need to capture pets to get stronger, probably means I'll be gimped for awhile being a complete noob to PSO universe and a F2Per.
Perhaps I'll go force with support 2nd class

Dont fret too much about your class, you can change any time in the ship. They all level separately but again, not a huge deal.

I mean a recent windows update made it that i had to redownload it cause said update borked my installation.

i posted a pic how to switch to english earlier on this page. you dont have the japanese version, just the language itself is set to japanese for some reason, so youll have to click the button/locations in the pic

also if u use the pso2 tweaker (which is a much better launcher than the original) u can double check whether u have the japanese version or not in tweaker settings:


like i said on page 1 i never specified your issue as a microsoft store issue. the store and the original patcher are both top tier garbage. thats why we have the tweaker to work around all that
