because this was never an issue on the japanese version of the game. i dont know how exactly it works but everything seems to be linked with microsoft, like the whole gamertag thing was also never there in the japanese version, i feel like it needs to connect to it everytime a player renders on the screen. the issues were having is just a few out of hundreds lol. worst case scenario the game deletes itself and becomes a invisible hardrive space hog because windows didnt feel like u should have permission to access it, even though you're signed in as admin. u should check the pso2 reddit, the problems this microsoft store cause is insane.
the pso2 tweaker team is also blaming the microsoft store btw, and they have been working on this tool for more than 8 years.
