As with the thread starter, it sounds like your an AGP PC as well so you are limited. You can get a Nvidia 6800GT for decent prices these days though probably not as cheap as you'd like. You are pretty limited with AGP, the 6800 series is pretty good for an older generation, but for current gen stuff AGP is severely limited, you can get a 7800GS though for around $219 or so.
