“Adults-Only” Game in development for Wii

I would like to say this is a very strange game especially coming from SNK who has decided to bring their DS title “Exciting Witch Trial” to the Wii according to the report below. It seems however that this title would only be available in Japan especially with the nature of the game will gamers have to perform “acts” to find out if the anime-like “school girl” is a witch or not. Odd indeed but nevertheless I expected something like this would eventually pop-up with the new control scheme.

Xfire, a Viacom company that according to a description on Wikipedia “is a freeware instant messaging service targeted toward gamers. Its uniqueness lies in its ability to detect what video game a particular contact is running and allowing IMs to be sent and received from inside the game in question, eliminating the need to minimize the game window.”

According to the report below, Xfire and Sony have partnered up for Xfire’s services while the CEO of the company stated “We are in talks with one other console maker.” The report suggests that it is indeed Nintendo, based on the fact that Microsoft already has a system built in place from the ground up.

I find the first news quite non-surprising.


As far as the X-fire thing goes. YAY!

Microsoft is gonna lose the race this time around. First they release the product to early, then they have battery malfunctions in the 360. Now they won't have the awesome feature the PS3 and Wii is gonna hold.

Really I don't recall seeing an AO game on GC, but i remember a couple on N64 like Shadow Man. I hope the "other console maker" will be Ninty too, I heard before that they were going to use GameSpy.
