You've seen what terrorists do; they are willing to die for their country. Chances are, if they are willing to do that, it isn't likely that they'll be giving out info that easily. Now, are you saying that the terrorist should die in a non-human way? If he deserves to die, then shoot him I say. But torturing?

Like everyone else, if he had been captured, he would have gone to court and charged with his crimes. His punishments would then be decided and carried out.

i have to disagree with you guys even though torture is morally and politically wrong. How else would you deal with someone who refuses to cooperate. For example in a court system their Oath thing doesnt really serve a purpose since it does not stop the person from lying therefor proving to be useless. Althought torture to a certain extent is inhumane is has been proven useful. To those that say that torture in the american constitution is wrong well Bush has obviosly screwed the entire system. so why even start to follow it now

First, you don't need to confess to a crime to be charged guilty of the crime. There just needs to be enough evidence.
Your secound logic is just pathetic.
First, to start with, before Bush the constitution was followed fairly well. There still were problems, but no where near this bad.

Secound, if no one does anything it will simply continue as it is.
Doing nothing will get you nothing.
