There are no 'moles' in chemistry.

I didn't harass you, I just told you the truth. Once more you're trying to come back with a witty comment. I'll stop feeding any trolls in this thread now. Not pointing any fingers or anything.

I wish I could help, but I've just started to get chemistry.

@Gigabit: Do you suffer from some sort of harassment paranoia? You should lay back a bit.

    1 mole = 6.022 x 10^23 atoms = 22.4 L = atomic mass

Just convert the measurements using those. For example:

    (10,000,000 atoms/1)(1 mole/6.022 x 10^23 atoms) = (10,000,000 moles/6.022 x 10^23) = (1.661 x 10^29)

Good thing I'm in physics. I didn't understand that equation one bit.

so to do "Calculate the number of atoms or molecules for 1.00 moles of water" do I do (1.00/1 then times 6.02x10^23/1) or (1.00/1 then times 6.02x10^23/34) since the gfm for water is 34.

Now, if you had to calculate the number of oxygen or hydrogen atoms in 1.00 moles of water, that'd be a different story.

Why dont you two pass over each others xfire names or MSN names or something and talk about this. Would probably be a little more productive then talking about this here.

Ouch this is hurting my head. I'd help you but I just finished chemistry and I never want to talk about it again... except I have it agian next semester (damn >.<)
I did really well on this mole stuff but somehow I don't remember any of it lol
